Art emerges to express what words cannot. As of October 7th, our words ran out, our lungs stopped breathing, yet amidst the bleeding wounds, there emerges restoration and a journey back to life. For us, individually and collectively, our rehabilitation will be long and tedious, and will include ups and downs.

Rooted in history, art has always symbolized the shift from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, embodying a resurgence into the Age of Light. It is in this spirit that the HESEG Foundation and the RESTART Association have jointly undertaken an initiative—a charitable art exhibition, the proceeds of which will be dedicated to supporting the wounded. This commitment stems from a profound recognition that a vital aspect of our social recovery involves the interplay of initiatives, culture, and morality as an intricate triangle of rehabilitation.

HESEG Foundation was established by the couple Gerry Schwartz and Heather Reisman in 2005. The foundation provides academic and living expense scholarships to those who have been recognized as Lone Soldiers during their military service. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of personal excellence, leadership and exceptional achievements.

The RESTART association was founded by wounded IDF veterans during their rehabilitation following Operation Protective Edge. The association works to reinstate wounded IDF soldiers to a complete life routine through unique technological solutions for specific challenges as well as providing comprehensive mental health support.
