48 year old Yariv Lev Ari lives in Modi’in and has 4 children.
Yariv served in the intelligence division and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was injured during his service, and moves around in a wheelchair, prosthesis and crutches. Today, Yariv runs the “Ofek Back to Life” organization, which helps families affected by medical malpractice.
Challenge: Walk on the beach
One of the limitations left unanswered for Yariv, is safe and independent walking on the beach. Ordinary crutches sink easily into the sand and make it difficult to walk. Yariv is looking for a solution for crutches that will allow him to walk freely on sandy beaches, without the fear of falling.
