33 year old Re’em Ben-Or used to be a tour guide and has been deeply connected to our country’s beautiful sites and scenery from a very young age. After being severely injured in a car accident, Re’em remained paralyzed from the neck down and has been moving around in a wheelchair ever since. In his free time, Re’em still enjoys the outdoors and tries to travel as much as possible all around the country- Especially around the breathtaking deserts of the Negev.
Challenge: Back and forth from the wheelchair to the ground
Re’em cannot carry his weight, therefore has a difficult time moving from his wheelchair to a sitting position on the ground, and back from the ground onto his wheelchair.
Re’em is looking for a solution that will help him make that transition independently and with ease, as much as possible.
