Team Yoram- Early Detection of Anxiety Attacks

Team Yoram- Early Detection of Anxiety Attacks

52 year old Yoram Cohen currently resides in Tel Aviv, with his wife and their two children.

In 1987 he enlisted into the “Rahaf” track of the IDF Armored Corps. During his service in Judea and Samaria, at the beginning of the first intifada, he encountered a number of serious incidents that caused PTSD, yet he didn’t treat himself and continued on with his life.

Three days after his release, he enlisted in the Ministry of Defense. After about 30 years in a variety of positions, Yoram experienced a late and powerful outbreak of post-trauma. Since then, Yoram has been in a therapeutic process and is trying to continue his life despite the injury.

Challenge: Early detection of anxiety attacks

Following the injury, Yoram experiences several attacks of stress and anxiety. These situations make it extremely difficult to function- avoiding places, people and common and normative actions. Early detection of anxiety attacks can soften and even sometimes prevent these attacks.
