Team Ogen
44 year old Ogen Drori is an archaeologist for the Israel Antiquities Authority.
Ogen served in the IDF’s Golani Brigade and was injured during a training sequence by falling on a metal spike which penetrated his back. After a year and a half of rehabilitation, he returned to full physical capabilities. Ogen volunteered for reserve duty where he was injured time and time again, the last one while evacuating wounded soldiers.
As a result of his injuries, Ogen lives with fixations in his back and is paralyzed in his left leg. These conditions make it almost impossible for Ogen to bend down and crawl in archaeological tunnels.
Challenge: Archeology helper
As an archaeologist, Ogen is required to search tunnels, caverns and caves. Due to his physical limitations and pain – Ogen is searching for a solution which will enter the caves in his place, make a detailed and relevant record of the cave and allow him to take a leading and independent role on the site.
