Avi Levi – Opening and closing his palm

Avi Levi, 44, lives in Tel Aviv.
Avi was wounded in 1996 in Gaza from a bullet to the head. Due to the injury, Avi suffers from a limitation on the right side of the body. He has difficulty walking, speaking, and remembering things. Avi volunteers at the IDF Induction Base, loves to hang out and travel the world. Avi believes in moving forward, meeting new people and is excited to be a part of Restart Makers for Makers 2022.

The challenge: Opening and closing his palm

Due to his injury, Avi has difficulty controlling the opening and closing of his palm, which causes pain and can lead to deterioration and irreversible damage. Avi is looking for a solution that will help him open and close his fingers in a controlled manner to prevent permanent damage to his palm.
