Shay Senior, 29, lives in Tel Aviv and grew up all over the world.
Shay loves hiking, learning new languages, horseback riding, and extreme sports. In 2009 he returned to Israel for his military service in the “Sky Riders” unit. Shay injured his right wrist during the officers’ course, which led him to a long rehabilitation process and the establishment of the “Palta” project – a company that represents fashion products suitable for people with disabilities. Shay currently leads the company, volunteers with various organizations, and met his partner Nathaniel Yehuda Halevi through Restart’s activities in 2019. Since his release from the army, Shay specializes in robotics and advises companies and organizations in Israel and around the world.
The challenge: Warming the wrist
As a result of his wrist injury, simple daily activities like grabbing things and even shaking hands lead to pain that is currently treated by applying pressure and warming the area. Shay is looking for a small, comfortable, and inconspicuous solution that he can carry around during the day, which will allow active fixation and heating of the wrist, helping to relieve pain and protect the joint.
