The Mentoring Program
The Mentoring Program is a transformative, six-month journey that helps participants set meaningful personal goals and build a clear plan to achieve them — with the support and guidance of a dedicated personal mentor.
Each year, 20 wounded men and women from the IDF and security forces are paired with 20 mentors for an inspiring one-on-one experience. Together, each pair defines the participant’s personal and professional goals — whether it’s finding a job, exploring new career paths, pursuing education, starting a family, or other milestones in rebuilding their lives.
Every two weeks, the entire group comes together for professional workshops led by top experts across different fields, providing participants with practical skills and real-world tools for success.
Since 2020, Bank Hapoalim has proudly partnered with Restart as a strategic supporter of the Mentoring Program. The bank is deeply committed to social initiatives that promote inclusion, employment, and opportunities for people with disabilities. Thanks to this partnership, the program continues to grow — empowering more wounded heroes to take the next step toward their future.

Bank Hapoalim – Strategic Partner
Since 2020, Bank Hapoalim has proudly adopted the Mentoring Program, supporting it as a key strategic partner.
Alongside its business operations, Bank Hapoalim is deeply committed to making a meaningful contribution to Israeli society. The bank actively works to strengthen social and geographic peripheries across Israel while empowering disadvantaged communities. Its social impact efforts focus on key areas such as promoting employment and equal opportunity, advancing digital literacy among marginalized populations (with a special focus on seniors), empowering people with disabilities, and promoting financial education.
Bank Hapoalim’s employees and managers are personally involved in many social initiatives, expanding the bank’s positive impact through direct, hands-on engagement across the country.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, the bank has been more committed than ever to supporting projects and partnerships that encourage employment and provide tools for individuals reentering the workforce.
As part of this mission, Bank Hapoalim maintains a strategic partnership with the Restart Association, supporting both the Mentoring Program and the Makethon Project — initiatives focused on personal and professional growth, employment, technology, and empowering individuals to rebuild their confidence and independence.
